Do you Love yourself? The answer might be obvious:
Of course, I do love myself! I get myself a new phone every year, I go to eat out nice food, I dress up, I work out, I do yoga, I look after myself. I am a vegan, after all. And I don’t smoke. Of course, I love myself. Why would you even come up with this question? But wait a minute…
Is this really love?
What is the opposite emotion of love? It is not hate, as many would think. The opposite of love is fear. After all, any human experience can be boiled down to either love or fear. Any experience at all.
If you don’t love yourself, how can you expect others to love you?
If you don’t love yourself, how can you truly love someone else?
Taking care of yourself: is it love or is it fear? It can be both, it depends. Maybe a person is vegan because of their fear of not going mainstream? Or they have the latest phone because of their fear looking out of fashion? Hitting the gym every day can be the fear of becoming less attractive to the opposite sex?
One of the ways to know if you really love yourself is to pay attention to how others treat you. Are you loved and respected by them? Are strangers willing to help you, even when you don’t really need any help? Or, perhaps, it is the opposite? Do those who you care for, seem to want to hurt you for no apparent reason?
Going from a no self-love to unconditional self-love can bring about a major change. It is how others begin to perceive you. The key word here is “unconditional”.
In a nutshell, this comes down to the Law of Attraction: like attracts like. The outer world is a perfect reflection of the inner world. Whatever you put out to the Universe is what you get back, and this is what is reflected back to your at all times. You love yourself, then others love you too. It is automatic. We have no conscious control over it.
This self-hypnosis track will help in making a shift to unconditional self-love.

If you are serious about getting into a state of self-love, hypnotic sleep meditation is definitely something to try. Even though this technique is called sleep hypnosis, some would prefer to listen to it not while falling sleep but staying awake in the process. First of all, being in a Delta state is a cool experience! You can consciously witness paradigm shifts and the imagery that go along with it. Also over time you can sneak your own affirmations into it, just by saying them aloud or silently.
